SOUND LIGHTING & VISION SYSTEMS
Formerly known as SSE London, our installations division now operates across the UK from our bases in London, the Midlands and the North of England.
SSE INSTALLATIONS looks after a growing portfolio of installations at venues in the capital and at an ever-growing range of sites across the UK.
We specialise in turnkey equipment installations, providing audio, lighting and visual systems to venue operators - whether for a small bar or a 3,000 capacity live music arena. We have even installed the audio system in sports stadia for capacities of 80,000 people.
The approach of SSE INSTALLATIONS is to provide a complete service, reducing the burden on the venue operator. We will provide consultancy to assess the sound and lighting requirements for a venue, taking into account customer comfort, health and safety and noise management.
We are also committed to install systems that are both flexible and easy to operate.
Many venues today have vastly differing requirments for daytime and nightime operation, so we frequently install systems with simple controls enabling staff to transform the venue from a quiet, reflective daytime state to a loud and vibrate night venue.
Installations are financed either on a contract rental basis or as an outright sale, to meet the operator's priorities.
Once an installation is up and running, we provide comprehensive support packages for servicing and on-call engineers to make sure equipment is kept up and running.
In 2006 SSE Audio Group acquired Tarsin Entertainment Ltd significantly expanding SSE's portfolio of venues we service. This was followed by the acquisition of Green-i in 2009. In 2012 we acquired ETA Sound, expanding our venue portfolio to include the design and installation of large format audio and emergency evacuation installations in stadia, shopping malls and large spaces.
Installation Contracts
We supply many top clubs, pubs and other public venues with PA, lighting and AV systems through either contract rental or outright sales, each backed up by SSE Audio Group's rental and audio engineering services.
We cover many of the UK’s leading clubs and other entertainment venues, including Proud Cabaret in the City of London, the multi-room Canvas near Kings Cross, and the Pigalle Club in London's Piccadilly.
Across the country contracts include Paparazzi in Manchester, Thirteen Degrees in Cheltenham and various venues operated by the Po Na Na brand.

Audio systems range from DJ systems to full blown stage sound reinforcement, with product names including Nexo, L'Acoustics, JBL, Martin Audio, Bose, Soundcraft, Yamaha, Midas and Pioneer. All our systems are tailored to suit each individual case and budget.
Lighting systems comprise anything from small disco systems to complex computer-controlled systems, with LED architetural lighting, moving heads and stage lighting systems.
Video systems include laser units, plasma and LCD screens, projectors and computer control systems. SSE Installations work with software programmers and suppliers to deliver screen content and digital signage.
