PRO2 for Magnum Sound
South Wales based Magnum Sound has taken delivery of a Midas PRO2 package from SSE Sales.
Magnum's Phillip Hughes takes delivery of the Package at SSE
The PRO2 package comprised:
- Midas PRO2 Digital Mixing Console
- Midas DL251 Stage Rack
- Sigma Fabrications Laminate PRO2 flightcase
- Sigma Fabrications Laminate 12U laminate rack
- 2 x Littlite Gooseneck Task Lights
- 1 x 48 input panel with passive split to 48 way VDM Circular multi pin outlet
- 1 x 16 output panel
- 1 x Ethercon patch bay
The additional line system panels provide Magnum Sound with a passive split, available directly from the DL251 rack for connection to the Company's existing consoles.
The ouput panel and ethercon patch helps to protect the DL251, as it remains patched at all times. Only the panels need to be regularly repatched, so there's less wear and tear on the rack itself.
The PRO2 flight case, built by Sigma Fabrications utilises Sigma's custom extrusions and includes a wooden dog box and a routered PRO2 logo on the rear.
As Magnum Sound's Phillip Hughes took delivery of the package, he commented: "After shopping around, SSE Sales was an easy choice. Not only could SSE offer great back-up, but they could provide the package exactly as I wanted it and including all the extras. I've been very happy with the service and I'm looking forward to geting the desk out for its first show this weekend."
