Pro Productions expand with KARA and PRO2

Evesham based rental company, Pro productions has expanded its PA inventory with the purchase of L'Acoustics KARA and Midas PRO2.

Founded by Will Bushell, Pro Productions has built a strong customer base over recent years as a staging and production hire company. Their rental inventory includes several outdoor stages and a large stock of riser decks as well as some PA and lighting equipment.

Will decided that the time was right to up their game in terms of their offering of sound equipment, enabling the company to provide a complete and high spec package.

Based just down the road from SSE's Redditch HQ, Pro Productions has a long working relationship with SSE Audio Group, frequently dry hiring equipment. So it was logical for Will to visit a recent SSE Roadshow to see  and hear a demonstration of  L'Acoustics and Midas products that could meet their expansion requirements.

"We wanted to invest in rider friendly and road proven brands" says Will. "L'Acoustics KARA and Midas PRO2 combined puts Pro Productions on the map as a Pro Audio provider as well as a staging company."

He believes their choice of KARA and PRO2 was an easy decision to take:
"They are both relatively new products, so by investing now we should get the maximum life expectancy out of them - if DV-DOSC is anything to go by, then we can be confident that we will get many years out of the KARA system."

Asked why Pro Productions chose SSE Sales as their supplier, Will focused on the good working relationship between the two companies:

"It gives us peace of mind to know that we can get more kit from them if we need to on a hire basis, and if we were to have any issues with the equipment we can rely on the back-up they can offer. It made it an easy choice."

The new equipment was handed over to Pro Productions at SSE's Headquarters in time for the KARA system's first outing on 26th and 27th May at the first of the Rugby Rocks 2012 shows, which is part of Rugby 7's tour.  The event, which took place at Richmond Athletic Ground with Zane Lowe headlining, was a storming success.

"We have had lots of positive comments from our client" says Will Bushell, "and the crowd seemed to have a great time, so we hope for lots more of the same!"
