SSE Sales has become aware that there are lots of old, unfortunate, amplifiers in the UK. For this reason we have setup 'Ampnesty International', a new scheme to help re-home lost and abused power amplifiers and - for those beyond help - we also have a legal euthanasia programme to help those beyond help move onto the next world.
These poor amplifiers may be still working hard in venues, or they may just be discarded in a pile, forgotten and left behind. These amps, many as young as 10 years old, mere adolscents have been victims of abuse. They have been left to fester in dirt and dust, incapable of cleaning themselves up, many have given up and stopped outputting on one or both sides, not seeing how they can go on. Some amps have even started wailing because the suffering is too much to bear.
There is now a solution to these problems.

Trade in any old amplifier working or not, and get an extra 10% discount from your usual discounted price on any new Lab.gruppen FP or PLM amplifier, or Lake processor.
There are also amplifiers out there of a certain vintage, that like a fine wine are still sought after and desirable, despite missing the new fangled bells and whistles.
These amps are the F reg Porsche 911 with 100,000 miles on the clock. It may be old but it's still running fine and does everything you need it to do, except it's missing the integrated sat nav, and onboard computer. ie. You want your Dante interface to go with the shiny new digital desk you bought, and it'd be great to free up some rack space with onboard processing and 4 channels in 2U, but equally you don't want to give away your fine wine.
We understand this...
So for any amplifier that you feel has a resale value of more than £400 we will consider offering you a cash price in part exchange for a purchase of new Lab.gruppen FP, PLM and/or Lake processors. These offers will be assessed on a case by case basis.
