Preserve the integrity of your house sound system by installing the SSE Digital DJ Interface (ddi).
It is a compact 1U rack mounting patchbox enabling visiting DJs to hook up their scratch hardware/software system to the venue's audio system. It provides patching that allows the DJ to use the permanent turntable and CDJ installation with their own Serato Scratch, Scratch Pro, Final Scratch or similar system without the need to re-patch the existing system.
This means hum and hiss, loss of signal, and crossed wires, are all prevented when these playback systems are removed and taken away at the end of the night.

The ddi achieves this by connecting the house system cables to the rear panel of the ddi (see illustration below), while visiting DJs connect their laptop or scratch system via the fully accessible front panel. Their digital playback hardware can be used in conjunction with the installed system in any combination of CD, turntables and DJ Mixer, with turntables or CDJs used as the timecode trigger device.

Using the ddi has the added advantage of zero loss in level from vinyl playback, as the signal is passively split within the unit. At the end of the performance the visiting DJ simply removes the kit they’ve connected. There is no need to re-patch anything; the house system is back as it should be. A quick and simple solution!
The unit features gold plated connectors for optimum audio quality, and has a beautiful engraved aluminium front panel anodised purple.
