Hands on Training at the new Fridge - Live
SSE Sales has supplied a Digidesign Venue Profile HD64 to Alchemea College for installation at Brixton Venue - the Fridge
Alchemea College of Audio Engineering has forged an innovative new partnership with Andrew Czezowski and Susan Carrington's historic London venue "The Fridge" to bring live sound engineering courses into the real world.
Alchemea, has developed an intensive hands-on 4-month Live Sound Diploma Course, it's aim to give students unprecedented levels of real practical experience, with all practical training and study taking place at “The Fridge”, which has recently undergone a substantial refurbishment programme.
SSE Sales has supplied a Digidesign Venue Profile HD64 front of house console (including a Pro Tools HD recording system) as part of a complete PA system that is being provided by Alchemea.

Alan 'Nobby' Hopkinson has been appointed as Alchemea’s Head of Live Sound and will oversee the Fridge’s new system.
As a result, regular live music concerts are set to return to The Fridge for the first time in 15 years.Web Links:
