New Midas PRO2 on Tour by Example

SSE Hire is using the new Midas PRO2 digital mixing system for the current European tour by British rapper, Example.

The new console was specified by Monitor engineer Will Nicholson after using the Midas PRO6 extensively on previous tours in the front of house seat.

“I love the sound of Midas consoles (and so do the band) and I needed a board which I could use in smaller clubs around Europe,” Nicholson says. “The new PRO2 is compact but has all the facilities I need and so fitted the bill perfectly.”

He adds, “I wanted to stick with the Midas product range as the pre-amps, processing and latency all produce an audibly better result.”

The tour kicked off in Koln, Germany on February 24 and and comes to the UK in the UK in April-May.
