Stevie Wonder Set for European Tour
In September 2008 Stevie Wonder performed his first European tour in a decade. Canegreen supplied the PA and Pete Edmunds asked new partners SSE Risers to supply the risers for the stage set.
The design called for a multi level set to house the large backing band, but with clear unobstructed access maintained for Stevie’s entrance on to the stage.
Once again SSE’s compact risers provided the best solution with their ease of erection and minimum truck space requirements.
As with many shows of this kind the band need to be raised from the stage level but the risers should not be intrusive. The best result is when they aren’t noticed at all - and SSE’s risers fitted the bill perfectly.
