Available to rent from SSE Hire, TeePee was first developed specifically to provide a safe ground support system for loudspeaker delay clusters, which overcame the problems associated with uneven ground – a problem which products at that time had failed to address. Its innovative design won the TESA Event Product of the Year award in 1999.

Teepee consists of a number of interchangeable triangular truss elements in 1.5m and 2.2m lengths that assemble into a pyramid structure. This provides a single rigging point at a height of up to 11metres.

The ultra lightweight design constructed in aluminium XO truss means the whole tower can be constructed on site rapidly and with minimum personnel, without the need for forklifts or lifting equipment.

 

Overall Tower heights vary between 7m and 11m. The TeePee tower conforms to all the relevant codes of practice and British Standards for temporary demountable structures.

Each Teepee tower has a capacity to suspend loads up to 1 Tonne, (including motor hoist and chain).

 

Although originally designed as delay towers, the uncluttered design has meant that TeePees are often used as suspension systems for the main PA at a wide range of events – both outdoors where they avoid the need for a PA wing and indoors where there is insufficient roof loading to suspend the PA.
