SetDeck Performance Platforms
With 10 years experience fabricating risers and platforms for use throughout the performance industries, SSE Structures has launched a new range of modular lightweight stage decks that provide flexible performance platforms which are much more compact than comparative products for easy storage and transportation.
Ultra Compact DeckingEach deck unit is manufactured using our own proprietary design aluminium extrusion with a profile of only 76mm, making SetDeck extremely compact. Its lightweight construction means an 8ft x 4ft deck weighs only 54kgs.
Legs, which are available in a variety of heights up to 8’, are fixed in place rapidly using our own design custom leg clamps, which have been significantly improved from the earlier unit. The clamp fitting has moulded lugs which locate into the extrusion wall for additional strength and rigidity. The clamp can be locked by hand using an easy turn bolt which screws into a replaceable M10 hex nut. Locking wheels can also be easily added to create rolling risers. Legs of 3’ or more are supplied as H frames for additional rigidity.
Instant FinishDecks are constructed from timber and covered in hardwearing grey carpet as standard. They are versatile and quick to erect and with the ability to lock risers together from above, large performance areas can be rapidly built without the need for additional finishing.
Alternative deck finishes can also be specified including plain painted boards, vinyl finish, or acrylic tops for illuminated or transparent risers. Other accessories include steps, handrails and drapes.Standard SetDeck risers are available for hire or sale and custom decks can be built to order.

Stock Riser Decks
The standard deck measures 2440mm x 1220mm (8ft by 4 ft). The basic unit is very practical both for single use (in pairs as a drum riser for example) or as a modular building block for more complex sets.
