SD12 Overview

Existing SD users will find the new console’s workflow familiar and the SD Series Core2 software ensures compatibility with all other SD Series sessions.

The SD12 can handle 72 input channels and has 36 auxilliary/group busses available. On the rear panel there’s eight mic line inputs and eight local line outputs. Dual MADI in/out ports, dual DMI card slots and eight AES/EBU  in/out ports all add to the I/O flexibilty of the console.

The dual screens enable the operator to view 24 channels simultaneously or alternatively the right hand display can be used as a Master screen. The console can also be used in dual operator mode with a screen for each user.

SSE Sales Director Alex Penn commented, “The SD12 is a true SD Series mixing console. It has the recognised SD sound, uses the same software and has extensive control and connectivity. It’s a 96kHz compact system that we believe will prove extremely popular across all aspects of our Hire, Sales and Installations work.”
